Gallery of Visual Artists of Western Balkans 2025

DAY 1 — 28 OCTOBER 2025

Arrival, Opening, First Interactions

The first day of CVA-2025 welcomed all participating artists to Korça, where they connected with partners and were introduced to the program promoting dialogue, peace, and regional cooperation. The opening ceremony at the “Vangjush Mio’s Museum” Gallery set the tone for shared creativity and collaboration. Artists began their first interactions, establishing the foundations of cross-border cooperation.

DAY 2 — 29 OCTOBER 2025

Museum Visits & Round Table on Dialogue and Peace

Artists explored Korça’s cultural heritage through visits to the “Gjon Mili” Photography Museum and the National Museum of Medieval Art, deepening intercultural understanding. The round table at the Multimedia Hall gathered artists, institutions, and civil society to reflect on the role of visual art in strengthening dialogue and peace. The day encouraged meaningful exchanges on regional cultural cooperation.

DAY 3 — 30 OCTOBER 2025

Work Session at Guri Madhi Gallery

On the third day, artists dedicated their time to developing and advancing their artworks inside the Guri Madhi Gallery. The gallery setting provided a calm and focused environment that encouraged artistic concentration and exchange of creative techniques. Throughout the day, painters worked individually and collectively to prepare their pieces for the final exhibition.

DAY 4 — 31 OCTOBER 2025

Life Painting Demonstration, Exhibition & Closing

The final day featured the public life-painting demonstration in front of West Park’s Commercial Center, where artists interacted with citizens and conveyed messages of dialogue, peace, and regional cooperation. Later, each painter presented one selected artwork in the collective exhibition at the City Library Gallery, showcasing shared values and cultural diversity. The closing event, aligned with “Mio’s Days,” celebrated collaboration and the strengthening of artistic networks across the Western Balkans.
